LFW – Mimi Tran

Sometimes when looking at collections you get the urge to break away from the trends and the things you keep seeing over and over during the week, you sit there yearning for something that will make you happy and make you smile. Before each show I get a nervous energy of excitement especially with a designer that I haven’t seen show before, you want to be wowed.

Step forward Mimi Tran, you made the fog of the mid fashion week tiredness lift with a collection, bold, bright and full of joy and fun. The standout neons, mixed with lace, hand beading and crystals had a pop, verve and joy for life that fulfilled everything I wanted. These are looks for someone who wants the strong, radiant feel to their wardrobe, and I want to see a lot more.

This experience has proved invaluable in building an understanding of how businesses work, and the landscape in which retail, B2B commerce and other commercial operations develop. Knowledge of commercial interests has helped shape my fashion industry insights beyond critiquing of garments

Thanks for attending our London Fashion Show and thanks for this review. Glad to see that the MIMI Woman can be seen in this collection too.
