Lucy Ashton – LFW Accessories

1fe8dd27-62d6-4a96-a211-da15e19f31ca_zpsjnszb7uv Part of the LFW whirlwind is the shows, the other part is doing lounges and exhibitons at various locations through the city, and so it was that I came across Lucy Ashton at the never less than awesome Grooming Room. Well first Lucy was surprised to have been introduced to Harry The Hippo who was repping Team:FW there for his latest escapades.

Based in Gloucester Lucy was debuting her first collections of hand made jewellery, armoured pieces inspired by Asian jewellery that create big statements as well as having smaller more subtle pieces. Created in silver, though gold can be added, each piece is created individually and includes earrings, necklaces, rings, hand and hair pieces.

I’d love to say Lucy was a personal find but she’s already graced the pages of Elle Glamour and Vogue amongst other titles, though given the quality, finish and beauty of the pieces I’m sure I won’t be the last to feature her either. People assume that LFW is all about the big labels, it’s not, it’s about being able to get out there and find the smaller labels and artists that make our fashion scene so wonderful, diverse and amazing, Lucy is the perfect addition to not only LFW but to your jewellery box.
