Harry The Hippo – A Wet Weekend In The City

Harry had been so busy fighting crime & sight seeing that he hadn’t had a weekend to relax in forever so he thought he would go out and spend a weekend wandering the city.

Suit – John Rocha, Jacket – Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair

But then the rain came, and Harry had to do a quick change of outerwear and grab his brolly!!!

Coat – Jung Won New York

He felt so chic strolling through the city, but Harry is from the African Savannah so he still isn’t used to drizzle, he knows beating sun and monsoons more. He never lets it get in the way of a stroll though he did quickly run from the naked bike ride, he grew up round elephants so he doesn’t want to see anyone else’s trunk!!!!

Still he always enjoys himself what ever the weather and is a big Eric Morecambe fan.

As the weekend wore on it looked like it would brighten up so Harry thought he’d be a bit more summery in his looks and went down by the river, the trouble is Harry often misses The Zambezi and the Thames reminded him of home, plus he got a tranquilliser dart in the bum last time he went swimming, thankfully the zoo keeper realised who he was and let him go, try explaining that to a partner, no I really was kidnapped and woke up in a pen, no really, why is my stuff in bin bags?

Thankfully the sun came out and Harry saw a buffet he thought he could graze on, he finally got to take his rain coat off and enjoy the warm weather, well until he got shouted at, it turned out his lunch was someones flower baskets, it gets so confusing for a hungry hungry hippo.

Shirt – Primark

Harry thought it would be better to do a quick costume change and go off to another part of the city, he’d had enough excitement for one day and after all he is supposed to be a “secret” agent. He decided to go for a more relaxed look and went off to read a book until he was nice and ready to take on the world again.

Trainers – Dunlop Green Flash, Trousers – Rokit Vintage, Polo Shirt – Local Oxfam
