Wolf & Whistle Review

For the second week in a row I’m drawn to East London for a label I really want to bring you. This week is Hackney based Wolf & Whistle started in 2014 by Louise & Emma and the simple idea that “Fashion is a form of self-expression”. They have already caught the eye of many a media star and of course you will have seen friend of FW Monica from Moth Loves in the various garments they craft.

There are a couple of creative points to pick up on here as well, all the garments and the prints are designed directly by Wolf & Whistle, I do love to see designers taking control of every element, it really does enforce that the end product is the designers true vision. Also how the collection is focused at the lifestyle of the modern women, each part is considered, work wear, fun, and of course occasion, in fact the beauty of many of these pieces while designed with one area in mind are utterly versatile as part of a very functional wardrobe, and as the majority of pieces come in at well under £100, well you can build quite the stuffed wardrobe !!!

The garment have echoes of classic design, for instance the tea dress cut is a timeless British look, and mixed with the modern prints and touches you can be assured that this is a collection that is fashion forward not disposable fast fashion. It’s a misconception that labels can take their time to find their feet. What is apparent by the connection that runs through this collection is here we have a team that know what they want, know what their customer wants and are able to bring it all together. Wolf & Whistle get the FW stamp of approval.

  1. Wolf and Whistle is a brand I’ve admired for a long time – such beautiful pieces you’ve picked out too ❤
