Things Fashion Teaches You About Life

Day 3 5.1

Many people run down an interest in fashion, it makes you vapid, selfish, and judgemental, well its time to fight back. Here is a list of the positive things Fashion teaches people . . .

You learn what you like, what you don’t and who you are, you develop a style that’s a reflection of the person you are, it becomes a visible representation of personality.

How To Research

Hey finding that outfit was hard work, you used web skills, read up, searched, and a long list of other things to find this look. You studied the historical looks and fashion icons AND after all that you found it in the sale.

You learn how to work a budget to the max, look for bargains and find the deals. You learn how to budget to keep the wardrobe fresh.

You learn how to style, you learn how to freshen up what you have, you learn how to make patterns, block colours and accessories come together, without creativity there is no fashion.

How To Make Friends

Social media, meet ups, events, and a mutual love of clothes bring people together. You can end up in a room full of strangers and still have things to talk about, and have interaction.

So let’s stop running down people who like fashion, it’s our hobby and love, but lets not allow that stereotype of “the fashionista” to become a reality. Be the change you want to see in peoples perceptions.
