Q & Eats with Jodie & Jess

After two aborted attempts at eating in Soho due to over flowing eateries I ended up heading into Wahaca with Jess & Jodie who you might know better as @JD_Lwig the founder of #fblchat plus Look What I Got and @alajode founder of The Click plus A La Jode. Both are things you need to know better, go click, go click NOW, well actually after you read all of this piece. As dinner buddies go, they are a lot of fun, conversation rolled from sheep, to fashion, via fun nights out and guinea pigs.

A quick note on the food . . .

Wahaca is a Mexican place based around street food with mainly sharing and small plates, taking in all the well know things like tacos and rice. It’s owned and run by a former MasterChef winner so you know there will be attention to detail in all the right places. They also like to keep it modern and seasonal, with a menu that stays true to its Mexican roots but embraces the flavours and produce of Europe.

It is good and tasty, with something for everyone, though as some of the tacos were so stacked I’m not sure you could eat it out on the street without needing a bib. If you are in need of quick reliable eats then this is a good option, think a Yucatan Wagamama.
