Q & Eats – Paper Thin Blog

You may remember the brilliant blog Paper Thin from previous posts, its lovely owner is a former FW Awards Judge and will be reprising the role this year. Jade is one of my fave fashion writers, providing excellent coverage and insight during fashion weeks, has an excellent site, and very excitingly is branching out to Home Décor as well.

We gossiped for a long time on everything from the industry to forced rhubarb in the Yorkshire Triangle as it had been ages since the previous time we met, but eventually I was able to stick to task and get on with our appointed task.

So get to know one of our judges much better on the latest Q & Eats  . . . .

We had originally planned to go somewhere else but a 45 in wait saw us relocate to the Wellcome Collection Cafe for tea and a light bite. Its very good, I had a really lovely asian spiced veggie salad, and Jade had the quiche. Usually I would avoid museum food but increasingly its getting better and I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised by both the quality and taste of what we bought. I can highly recommend both it and the museum as well

and you know more than I.
they have long taken your blood,
you are a dry stick in a basket.
is this how it works?
in this room
the hours of love
still make shadows.

when you left
you took almost
I kneel in the nights
before tigers
that will not let me be.

what you were
will not happen again.
the tigers have found me
and I do not care.
