The BAFTA Awards 2015 With Maddy

We invited FW Awards Judge Maddy to cast an eye over this years Baftas . . .

BAFTA’s best dressed. Let’s pass judgement! Nicely now people.

HB B15
Hannah Bagshawe. Not just because she accessorised with Eddie Redmayne, but because that Valentino dress looks like a slightly angry fairytale and that’s excellent.
RP B15
Rosamund Pike, simple yet stunning. Also like it when short haired girls let their short hair be short and fabulous. The Roland Mouret helps. As does being talented as hell.
LS B15
Léa Seydoux. With a red lip, cap sleeves and a colour as bright as the sun, it works. This red carpet needed more colour. It’s all been a bit dark. I like this despite my personal loathing of cutouts. Prada, I approve.
KN B15
Keira Knightley shows maternity wear doesn’t have to be hideous or dull in Giambattista Valli couture.
SHu b15
Sophie Hunter. This is not dull. She can do what the hell she wants because she is a person. And she looks great doing it.
TH B15
Tom Hiddleston. Yes please.
jw b15
Julie Walters. Because I love her. She looks fierce, her hair is magnificent and she’ll probably get missed off other lists because of her age. Which is balls.
Special mentions must go to:
SH B15
Stephen Hawking’s cravat. Cravats are cool when The Smartest Man In The World TM wears them.
GB B15
Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Belle is a phenomenal achievement, lilac is the colour of S/S15, and that dress reminds me of the prom dress I should have worn. And I just like her. Kudos.
pa b15
Patricia Arquette’s hair. Why does it never look like that when I try?

  1. Léa Seydoux looks stunning! Julie Walters just nails it as always.

  2. Charlotte

I love the angry fairytale dress too, I like a bit of pretty grunge on the red carpet! And Tom Hiddleston looks so British and yummy!

    • Tom Hiddleston is so yummy! A bit of grunge is always good. It just feels more approachable even when the dress is so complex and beautiful! Who was your fave?
