In Greece Politics & Style Can Mix – By @Kays Secrets

In the latest of her despatchs from Greece our roving contributor Kays Secrets has been looking at how politics and style can go hand in hand. Have a read and make sure you head over to her fabulous site.

Fashion and politics don’t usually get along in Greece. Yes,of course when watching “Scandal” you can’t help but envy these gorgeous looks, but in real life in this tiny country you don’t usually have many options. But we do have some fine examples of women looking gorgeous and professional, even in a very masculine profession.

In the greek parliament, especially in the past few years, the number of women politicians has been increased and the average age for these amazing ladies is below 40! So obviously they dress less conservative, accessorize more and take a better care of their public image than in previous years.

Now obviously I won’t bother you with the parties each lady represents. I’m just sharing with you which are theĀ  “well dressed women in Greek politics” and I have pics to prove it!

  1. Beautiful Greek ladies with style! I think it’s a shame that women in power don’t tend to embrace fashion all that much. It’s refreshing to see politicians that don’t feel like they have to wear suits.
