The Alternative Queens Speech – 2014

Queen TV

Well I was hoping to get Anna Wintour for you but she didn’t reply to calls or emails, I imagine she was busy rather than has no idea who I am, or that I exist. VB was going to be busy helping David cook the Turkey, and Sarah Burton was on holiday so that just me to write the alternative Queens speech, so here we go . . .

Its been a strange and in many ways difficult year, but one that in so many ways has been more fulfilling than many I have had. Life is a journey and this year has had a lot of stops, diversions and tea in strange stations.

One constant success has been my website, its growth and the people and places it has led me, ad I’d like to take this moment to thank each and every contributor, guest poster, contact, and most of all those who read it. My success would be nothing without each and every one of you.

It has been a lesson that even if many say what is the point, still go for it, still push forward with a passion. Nothing sustains the soul better than having something you love to do every day.

There have been some great highs, the shows, the events, meeting some people who have become firm friends, but also the support of so many old friends.

As we bowl into the last few days of 2014 I fee in the best place I have in many years, and the world seems so full of promise and excitement.

I want to share that joy of life and help it grow. 2015 will be marked by the continuation of supporting aspiring talent in the industry and in blogging/writing. It will also see a new campaign to make the world a bit nicer.

No Need For A Good Deed

It will focus on trying to do one good thing for another person each day, gestures of goodwill for others. I hope to encourage other people to join in. Take an action for a fried or stranger that makes a difference no matter how small.

As Bill & Ted Say “Be Excellent To Each Other”

Happy Christmas to you all, and a happy New Year.
