A Vintage Column -Michael Caine, Style Icon

mc main

Those who are regular readers will know I love vintage, I love tailoring, and for me there is no greater style icon than Michael Caine in the 1960’s. The suits, they make me weak at the knees, but his whole look was the very best of one of THE most stylish periods of all time.

Caine has the movies that set the tone of the decade, but he excelled as the poster boy for all that was great from male fashion, It also for me harks back to a time before ironic t-shirts and overly casual. I’m not a man that dresses down, and I still wear ties at the weekend, traditional or bow.

Thank you Michael for being an inspiration in finding the man I am, and who I can feel comfortable. You created and drive my love of vintage.
