Happy Blog Birthday 2011 to 2014

So sat outside a bar on my birthday in 2011 my friend offered the thought that she was bored of my opinions and couldn’t I blog them instead. a couple of weeks later the first post appeared, however that was the pivotal moment so I will always share my birthday with my blog.

It is in its second incarnation, a place where I love, looking at indie labels and retailers. Bringing you the biggest and best of the little people that are the real heart, soul and passion of our shared love, the fashion industry.

Its had a special place in my heart, when I lost my job my blog gave me a focus away from the stress and pressure of my life, and it gave me something I could enjoy no matter how crappy life was at times.

Blogging has given me some special friendships amazing experiences, and awesome opportunities. Its been a crazy ride at times, I mean how did a tiny little blog like mine get to interview a fashion legend, a TV star, and X Factor judges house finalists. I don’t even watch X Factor.

I even got to see a dress that used to belong to Anita Dobson through blogging, yeah Aisling that was an odd if awesome day.

A few special people I need to thank….

To Chris, Penny, Sarah & Miss Oak Tree, without the support, ideas and contributions you have made there might not have been a blog. You may not see it but you share the success I’ve had in many ways, and it seems fitting that I’ll be spending this evening with three of you.

Vicky, I’m so glad your part of this, love what you do and how you do it, never change, I adore you in every way.

Kiki, to you I owe a real thank you, for every question I asked, every bit of advice you gave, I’ve really appreciated it.

Of course the blog would be nothing without the followers, readers, designers, retailers, and the zillion others that are connected to it, to all of you I owe a massive thank you for 3 amazing years, and a bright future.

Happy Birthday Blog, you have made me so happy.
