FW Awards Nominations – Best Fashion Or Lifestyle Blog

I think its far to say the various contributors to FW read a fair amount of blogs, well it’s actually a huge amount. There are so many great ones out there and its time we here at FW Towers recognised that during our annual awards.

With that in mind we announce our final award and it will be chosen by me in my capacity of the head of this sprawling mess I call a site its a new one for this year . . .

Best Fashion Or Lifestyle Blog

I have excluded a couple of y faves as they are judges, sorry you two, but I’ve come up with a shortlist. It covers everything from fashion, Lifestyle, Food and Health and I think defines some of the best blogs out there. So rather than rabbit on here are the nominations

Heroine In Heels

This lil blog is a great mix of food, fashion, lifestyle and shoes. It is a must read for me for the restaurant reviews and ideas, but also because of the passion Laura shows for London and her blogging. Also I believe she may had a Phd in finding great chicken.

A Lady In London

Every blog list needs a great travel blog, well this is ours for our list. We love the travel posts, and also the London based stuff. If I’m thinking of going somewhere, or hear friends are this is the first place I look or advise others to for posts.

Silver Spoon London

a mix of some lifestyle with a great range of reviews for eating out. It has everything you could wish for from Hot Dog to Haute Cuisine. Don’t believe me, a colleague is a convert after I sent him a review link to find a special place for a night out. Whilst many reviewers can be polite and kind this is a blog that is both of those but also lets you know where things could be better.

Ballet, Dance, Fitness

After two food blogs your going to need a great fitness blog, as with all the nominees this one mixes its core subject with lifestyle. Come for the advice on exercises and the product reviews, stay for the lovely warm feel it has and the fitness as life choice core it has. Its a recent discovery for me but I’m a real convert.

Fairy Tale Pretty Picture

Fashion, books, interior design, DIY advice, and all in one place, oh and crafts, and weddings, and well lets just say its a diverse place. The posts feature such amazing looks for you and your home. incidentally the writer was recently a blog awards judge so it is kinda funny to turn the tables and judge her ;-p.

Look What I Got

The fashion blog par excellence, mixing personal style with whats going on in the larger community. OOTD’s sit alongside info from press days, coverage of trends and shows and so much more. We also applaud her for building a great community by extending into twitter chats with #FBLChat Tuesdays at 8pm

Big Fashionista

Don’t be fooled by the name this is an allsorts blog and Miss Big Fashionista is a powerhouse of fun and the best sarcasm online outside us obvs. Its going to make you laugh, cry and sigh in equal measures well apart from Nom Or Vom which will just have you thinking “would I ?”

Purple Persuasion

A truly outstanding blog about her and her life . As brave as it is amazing. Issues need voices, and voices that people can connect to, this blog puts huge ticks in those boxes. This may be different to the other blogs on the list but it really is a game changer in its field. In helping batter down the myths of mental health there truly is someone special here.

So thats our list, go and read them all, we would love to know your thoughts before we announce the winner on the 21st of June
