Best Independent Brands – Jiya Jewelry

Jiya Main

When we were at the Avant Event the other night we came across something we really love, nestled amongst all the great new designers and emerging talent there that night was Jiya, given our adoration of simple style it was a bit of love at first sight.

Starting at just £14 for the lower end of the range they make great hand-woven bracelets, and it is also a mother-daughter team behind the business so there are two more of our what we love boxes ticked.

We’re often to be found saying that accessories are the best way to maximise and keep that wardrobe fresh, and with over 50 colour options and even more styles that are all either worn individually or mixed and matched against that days outfit you can work these into your look over and over as you build your collection.

Head over to their website and have a look for yourself. We will be adding them to our directory, and a little bird tells us they may be making it into our summer edit as we love them so much.

Alongside writing, I have worked in other industries helping to design & grow digital platforms, develop businesses and support operations practices. This experience has proved invaluable in building an understanding of how businesses work, and the landscape in which retail, B2B commerce and other commercial operations develop. Knowledge of commercial interests has helped shape my fashion industry insights beyond critiquing of garments
